Enter Our Essay Contest Today provides an annual Essay Contest every year. Here is the topic of this year’s contest. “What advice would you give to young people starting out in the trucking industry?” The essay must be at least 600 words long. The first-place winner will receive a $1,500 prize. There is sometimes more than one-second prize. Each second-prize winner will receive $30 for an essay. Our organization may choose to feature your article on our website. We could even decide to hire you to work as a part-time or full-time contributing writer.

The Content of Your Submission

We recommend that all applicants should first browse current articles on our website. This way, they can understand the criteria for formatting and presentation. Your submission cannot contain any plagiarism. Do not copy and paste content from another article or source. Our team will check each submission to ensure that there is not any plagiarism. Again, the topic of the essay should focus on how to start a new venture or company. This refers to a young person working within any sector of the US trucking industry such as hotshot trucking deliveries.

Here are some essay content examples. Your essay could focus on working as a delivery driver for Amazon. Or, it could entail how to excel as a truck driver working for Walmart. But keep in mind that your essay does not have to involve a specific company. Your piece could discuss how young people can find opportunities through load boards. Or, tips for how to register with the government in the trucking industry. Again, these are only examples. Exercise creativity when determining your thesis and subject matter.

Our annual Essay Contest will not stay open for new submissions all year. That is why it’s best to submit your application right away. Applicants must be over the age of eighteen. You do not have to have professional experience in trucking/transportation to apply. Whether you’re a college student or a working professional, please apply now. Our Essay Contest topic is simple. “What advice would you give to young people starting out in the trucking industry?” Of course, this is an open-ended question. But your essay cannot have any similarities to our articles.

There are two divisions of awards. The first-place winner, division one, will receive a $1,500 prize. Division two focuses on second-place winners. The second-place winners will receive $30. will select anywhere from zero to many division two winners. It depends on the quality of the written submissions that we receive. Our organization reserves the right to not select a division one and division two winner. This may happen if the submissions do not meet our quality and ingenuity standards.

Say that you get selected as a Division One or division two Essay Contest winner. could feature part (or all) of your essay on our site. We could even consider hiring you as a part-time or full-time written contributor. Thus, this award is about more than money. It’s about the potential opportunity to work for our organization. All applicants must be official United States citizens. They must also be over the age of eighteen years old at the time of submission. Previous first-place contest winners are not allowed to take part in this contest. Immediate relatives of first-place contest winners are also not allowed to take part. Previous division two winners do have full eligibility to submit their essays. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, delays may take place before we announce an award.
